Excellence in Therapist Training & Clinical Supervision
At Cornerstone Family Counselling Services, our impact extends far beyond our therapy rooms. As an officially recognized clinical training site in Ontario, we’re cultivating the next generation of skilled, compassionate mental health professionals who will serve communities across the province.
Our mission is clear: Every therapist we train multiplies our ability to heal. Each professional we mentor goes on to support hundreds of individuals and families throughout their career—creating lasting ripples of positive change in mental health care.
Our training philosophy is built on the belief that exceptional therapists require more than technical knowledge—they need comprehensive preparation for the complexities of real-world practice. We don’t just teach techniques—we develop thoughtful, ethical practitioners equipped to excel in their careers and serve their communities with distinction.
Our clinical supervision is led by Father Pishoy Wasfy, PhD, DCP (Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy)- Canada’s highest clinical qualification in counselling. Alongside our team of experienced Registered Psychotherapists, we provide mentorship that combines decades of practical experience with cutting-edge therapeutic knowledge.
Guiding therapists toward full CRPO registration.
If you’re working toward your full registration as a Registered Psychotherapist, our clinical supervision program provides the rigorous, supportive guidance you need to excel. Our supervisors bring both academic excellence and real-world expertise to help you develop confidence and competence in your practice.
Master’s-level training opportunities.

We prioritize developing practitioners who uphold the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring they're prepared for the responsibilities that come with therapeutic practice.
Our training emphasizes cultural sensitivity, spiritual awareness, and client-centered care that honours the whole person.
Starting September 2025, our supervised intern program will offer reduced-rate therapy services to qualified individuals experiencing financial barriers. Clients receive the same high-quality, professional care—with interns working under direct supervision from our experienced Registered Psychotherapists.
