Peel Region covers a lot of ground, from urban Mississauga to growing Brampton to rural Caledon. Wherever you live, you shouldn’t have to settle for whoever happens to be closest, or wait months for an opening. Our registered psychotherapists serve individuals, couples, and families across the entire region, in person or online, using evidence-based methods like CBT and EMDR.
We also believe in making care affordable: The CARE grant from the Region of Peel, helps us provide free counselling to Peel residents who are newcomers to Canada or are receiving Ontario Works or ODSP. We also offer sliding scale rates for anyone else who qualifies, so cost doesn’t have to be the reason you wait.
Every therapist on our team holds a master’s degree and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Every therapist on our team holds a master’s degree and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Our Clinical Director, Father Pishoy Wasfy holds both a PhD and a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
We match the method to the person: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, EMDR and trauma-informed approaches for past experiences that still affect you, and family systems therapy for family conflict. If you’d like it, we can integrate Christian values and principles into your therapy. It’s entirely up to you. We welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs, and faith only comes into the room if you want it there.
We’ve been working with individuals and families across Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon since 2010. Our therapists understand that a session in a busy Mississauga condo, a Brampton townhouse, and a Caledon farmhouse can all look different, and that your community shapes what you’re dealing with as much as anything else does.

Most extended health plans in Ontario cover registered psychotherapy. We provide receipts you can submit for reimbursement. Not sure about coverage? Call 905-214-7363 and we’ll walk you through it.
No set timeline. Some people achieve their goals in a few months. Others benefit from longer support. In your first session, we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to accomplish and create a flexible plan.
Both are regulated mental health professionals in Ontario. Psychotherapists specialize in talk therapy and counselling. Psychologists can also provide therapy but often focus on testing and assessment. For most counselling needs, a registered psychotherapist provides excellent care.
We get it. Reaching out takes courage, especially when you’re not even sure it’s the right move.
Here’s the thing: you don’t need to have it all figured out before you walk through our door. Lots of people start therapy feeling uncertain. Maybe you’re worried your problems aren’t “big enough.” Or you’re not sure talking will actually help. Or you’ve tried therapy before, and it didn’t click.
All of that is completely okay.
Your first session is really just a conversation. We’ll listen to what’s going on, answer your questions, and help you figure out if therapy makes sense for you right now. There’s no pressure to commit to anything beyond that first meeting.
And if therapy isn’t the right fit? We’ll be honest about that too. We’d rather you find the right kind of support than feel stuck in something that doesn’t feel helpful.
Our registered therapists charge $150 for a 50 to 60 minutes session.
*Effective April 13, 2026, session rates will be $170 (50-60 min) and $255 (80-90 min).
Need a lower rate? We have two options:
Yes. Through CARE grant from the Region of Peel, we provide free counselling to individuals and families receiving Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) in Peel Region. Call 905-214-7363 and our intake team will walk you through the process.
