People come to Cornerstone at different points in their lives. Some of you are in crisis. Some of you have been carrying something for years. Some of you are doing reasonably well and want to keep it that way. We work with all of you.
Every therapist at Cornerstone holds a master’s degree and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Our Clinical Director holds a PhD and a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy and supervises all clinical work. We offer therapy in English, French, and Arabic, in person in Mississauga and online across Ontario. We have been serving Peel Region since 2010.

If you are an adult dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, or anything else that is making daily life harder than it should be, we can help. This includes post-secondary students, professionals in high-demand roles, and anyone navigating a difficult season.
If you are in a relationship and want to communicate better, rebuild trust, or understand what keeps going wrong between you, couples therapy can help you work through it together.
If your family is dealing with conflict, parenting stress, blended family dynamics, or communication that has broken down, we help you find steadier ways of relating to each other.
If your child or teenager is dealing with anxiety, school stress, friendship difficulties, behavioural changes, low mood, or the pressures of growing up online, we offer developmentally appropriate support.
If you are preparing for marriage and want to talk through the things that matter — finances, family expectations, communication, faith, and roles — we help you start with a stronger foundation.
If you are an older adult in Peel Region dealing with grief, loneliness, health changes, loss of independence, or the weight of this stage of life, we are here for you. We also support adult children caring for an aging parent.
If you have moved to Canada and are managing the stress of settlement, the loss of community, the tension of living between cultures, or the longer-term impact of migration on identity and family, counselling can help.
If you find it helpful to work alongside others who understand what you are going through, we offer therapeutic groups and skills-based workshops.
Sliding scale fees · $50 supervised sessions · Free therapy for qualifying Peel Region residents (OW / ODSP via the CARE grant) Faith integration available. Always optional, never assumed.
If you are not sure where you fit, our Intake Team will ask a few questions and match you with a therapist who fits what you are carrying. You do not need to have it figured out before you reach out.
